Just noticed, taylor the cool dude drives c230k. Is that legally Mercedes? What 40 or 50 yo dude in the right mind would look with envy at C230k? Every time I have seen c230k I close my eyes and pray to the God almighty that it was a bad dream but apperantly it is not !! Because taylor the dork drives one!!!!!!!!

I guess driving a "Smart" car doesn't have any effect on the owner.

Hey Fast Eddy:

Get off Taylors back. He's making a few reasonable observations and all you do is attack him. I'm a lot older than 40 and my hat's off to a 23 year old who is not only intelligent, but hard working. Guy like that would be most welcome by American tech companies. What's wrong with a young guy having a Mercedes? Bet you didn't earn your own by the time you were 23. In my area when I see a young person in a Mercedes, I assume they either are driving Daddys car or they earned it, to which I say WONDERFUL. You sound like one of those negative socialists that I occasionally run into in Belgium or the Netherlands. You should work on your vocabulary, you come across much less mature than Taylor does with your crude personal attacks. By the way, I also choose to effect the casual approach to business and don't think it appropriate to judge professionalism by appearance. My son who is younger than 23 drives a CLK430 and I'm sure he gets the same jealous gazes described by Taylor. He also excels in school and will buy whatever he wants when he takes a high paying job upon graduation. I also think this thread should now be closed.

THAT IS SO TRUE!!!

I was so tempted to post a reply when this thread first appears. Anyhow, here's my chance.

One summer's weekend a bunch of my friends cruising around town and one seems to be quite a character. He says, during our cruise around town he noticed a lot of people having jealous gazes at him and his nice car (C230). The rest of us didn't feels, sees or notices anything out of the norm. He also claim whenever he's out with his gorgeous car people always wanted to race him and HE ALWAYS WIN (I'm not surprise!).

How can you tell from a admire look to a jealous gaze???
Maybe they’re just admiring your gorgeous C230 Hatchback

If you don't look people don't gaze back.

Sorry, if I sounded rude...

Once you get a few jealous stares you'll understand. There's a huge difference, and its usually easy to spot, look at the eyes or mouth of the person.

I look all the time, cause I scan traffic to see what's around me, and end up catching a eye-contact with a few people.

It might be your attitude towards the people that you see looking at your car, I don't think I've ever noticed any person looking at my car and being jealous of me for having it. Then again that is the last thing in my mind (it mostly is "You wanna race?" haha).

That's so funny cause my attitude is completely against racing, never go looking for it.

I know its the atttiude I portray behind the wheel. This morning at Tim Hortons I got out with the track by Nas from the 8 Mile soundtrack (goes a little something like "You wanna be me...but you can't be me..." for anyone who hasn't heard it). I got 2 glances from older gentlemen as I drive in, then followed by 2 stares when I parked and got out. I actually watched one guy shake his head, murmur and walk away...

I'm just going to start flipping everyone off, at least justify the attitude. :-)

Maybe you forgot to wear pants, and the onlookers can't help but stare at the gruesome sight?
