Yo! just saw this today @ Vette forum guy w/near identical mods to my C6 w/exact same A4 automatic ran @ Atco strip............Fastest LS2 2005 A4 Automatic Bolt/On C6 ET 11.218 MPH 121.29 60 FT. 1.562 {STOCK HEADS & STOCK CAM}
Not trying to start any wars, I was just totally shocked at what this C6 Vette can do w/good track/driver & air etc...
Bolt-ons include CAI, Long tube Headers, X-pipe, Hi-Flow cats, 160 stat, underdrive pulley, full dyno & trans tune, Torque management removal, Cat-back, 3800 stall converter, 373 gears...
wheels... Rears wearing BFG drs 295 35 18 on a 9.5 65 mm chrome reproduction rim 24 lbs hot

That time is pretty impressive. I would venture to guess that the high stall and gears make up most of that improvement. I bet he really shot out of the hole.

I wish the SLK55 was easy to mod like that. I love the car, but major $$ and not much gains. 500 crank HP sets you back $13,000 and the best you get is an 11.7 at not quite, but almost 120. I'm just not real fond of the other car options though.

Looking for a new toy.
It'd be nice to be able to stuff a 295 tire in there as well. That's impressive results for sure, props to whoever it was. But I'm still happy with mine (at least until an SLK63 comes out *L*); there's always someone faster.
