Wussup Jackson. I had it for a month and sold it yesterday. The plans were, built block, gt28's, and widebody but decided to go another route. Sold it to a guy that owns a shop and he is doing what I wanted to do. He had the engine out the first day I gave it to him!

Raudi-S4- Did you expect a different outcome? You cant launch an E55 from a dig on regular pavement. Of course the AWD car will get a huge lead right out of the hole. Come on man, you should know better. And comparing a stock E55 to a modded S4 is not really fair.

I'm not knocking Audi's, **** I owned one and alot of my friends do too. There is no way in hell your S4 + mods = $15k. You want to sell it for $15k since apparently thats what you think its worth? And why are you quoting prices? Must I bring up the civic/domestic cars that would crush both cars for less money? You have AWD, should have gone form a roll to even it out. Its like racing a single turbo supra from a dig on the street And yes its unfair to race a stock car with a car with bigger turbos.

correct.....that is why I always do roll-on comparisons, from 20 MPH, 50 MPH, and 70 MPH and up

As long as its not like E60 M5ers......who want to start the roll-ons from 100 and up j/k

Healthy Stage 3 S4's will pull stock E55's allday long. The comparison should be with modded E55's.

What's with the Audi fellas taking shots at Mercedes? The E55 in particular?

A modded S4, as previously posted, is hardly fair against a stock E55-- from a friggin' dig no less. I would like to clarify, I'm not knockin' Audi either, I've owned two but damn, never once did I go around stompin' on every other car I was faster then with "reference" videos and price quotes and whatever else. Hate to admit it, but the E55 is in a different class speed being irrelevant. I knew it with my A4 and I knew it with my S4.

I can go get a 1994 Civic CR-X ( 25 cents from a gumball machine), dump a B16 (4K) in it, run an outrageous amount of boost and be faster then your S4 and my SL600 combined... don't make it a better car.

I agree but the E class is more comparable to an RS6...when I drove my friend's modded B5 S4 I felt like it was a more complete package than my CLK. It felt more enjoyable to drive and a bit more solid. I liked the feel of it a lot and didn't feel like my CLK500 was any more superior. And you can't beat those awd launches

I just hope Audi goes back to f/i, otherwise BMW will have a monopoly on the "cheap" twin turbo segment.

Quickest maybe, but not the fastest.When I said rumors I was referring to the post about the Magnum that I was quoting.

But you're forgetting I paid only $27,500 for the SRT-8 brand new and only needed $1K in bolt ons to go 12.2. You're also forgetting that it's N/A! So for all things considered, I think it's pretty damn impressive.

Again, you're comparing apples to oranges: a four year old 2004 Mustang pony car with all sorts of aftermarket mods and no warranty to a 8 month old Dodge Magnum wagon. Not to mention the Mustang is probably set up as a single purpose drag car. The Magnum is my family car which has a warranty, tons of room and options, etc.

You can't make these kinds of asinine comparisons because they never work. I could just as easily say "my neighbor has a $5K Duster which has 900hp and runs 8's all day."

And if your neighbor does have that, then he takes the cake.

I was just saying, if it's price and performance your after-- your Magnum is far from the best. I merely pointed out (just as you did to take credit away from the E55), that the Cobra is cheaper and faster then your Magnum. Just like you said afterall:

You're the one that said the Magnum SRT-8 running 12.2 with just a couple of bolt ons was "lame" and about as fast as a stock E55. This is why I brought up the price of the SRT-8 and the fact that it ran 12.2 with just a couple bolt ons, because you began the comparison with the E55 and the two cars are similar in they both offer luxury, performance, etc. Then you shifted gears and brought up the Cobra. You said my SRT-8 was lame, well I think your entire argument of bringing up all these different cars to compare the Magnum SRT-8 to is what's LAME.
