I raced both of my buddies from a 30 and 40mph roll up to 120mph. It was my CLK500 against a black B5 S4 with ecu, exhaust, and intake and a blue B5 S4 with AWE ecu, exhaust, and intake.

First race both S4's were off boost and I was able to pull them all the way up to 120. After that, we did a couple of more runs and they beat me both times. The black one (I forgot the type of chip he had, I'll post it when I find out) beat me by like a length or so. The blue AWE S4 just kept pulling up top and he was able to get ahead and go in front of me. Beat me by at least 3 lengths.

Those B5's when tuned properly are NO JOKE. I remember when I raced Marc's 10 second S4 and he annihilated me...it was like a Z06 vs a Civic lol.

Stock though they really do lag. Not a problem though, an AWE this a Nuespeed that and your off.

I raced one a couple of times at the drag strip in my stock E500. We raced 4 times and I beat him 3 of those. But, the only reason was because he fell asleep at the starting line. His E.T. was consistently, .10-.20 better than me with 1-3 MPH better too.

I was running 14.20-14.30's and he was 14.00-14.30

It was hot as hell that day, about 97* and I was on my heavy *** 19" wheels. Quick little bugger.

The blue AWE one (the fastest one) told me he couldn't break into the 13's. I hit a 13.8 at e-town. After seeing him run I could definitely see a 13.4ish run in his future.

Sometimes the track and real life can have completely different results so don't always go by that.

When you race from a roll the trap speed is a better indicator than 1/4 mile ET

I know dude, but he didn't remember what he trapped at. Highest I could ever trap was 100

I'm assuming its my 19" wheels that kill the top end as I would expect to run maybe 102. I also noticed that ever since I had the nos kit hooked up, my tranny shifts very slowly and has gotten rather jerky. Could be coincidence or further evidence that the 7gtronic isnt made to handle harsh torque loads.

He's not a bad guy lol. Hes a good driver and has some very quick cars. But I remember that whole challenge between you and him and also when SleeperX challenged him. He never came back after that, did he?

For some reason they only got 1 vid even though we raced a couple of times. Please ignore what was said in the camera man's car... haha. But yeah, those B5's have ridiculous torque. I got a similiar initial pull when racing an E55, though he kept on pulling and pulling. The S4 wasn't as dramatic. I wish we had the other races with the other S4. The one that I raced in the video was the blue AWE one. The GTI in the middle is the dude I previously raced and posted about on another thread. So yeah, just a warning to those out there with 500's...don't mess around with modded turbo S4's lol.

Nah bro, my car as you see in the video is completely stock. All it has (performance-wise) is 19" rims and a subwoofer/amp which weigh the car down and rob hp. I also had 2 passengers in the car, he had 0. Still, he completely owned me. He told me he has about 385tq so thats why he jumped so quickly.

Had this been last summer...the outcome would be very different

Do you know if either S4 had downpipes / piggies? Full stage 2 can do about 320whp-330whp with the proper mods, nasty little machine, I cannot wait for mine.

It would've been a massacre even if he started in 3rd and let you get to 60. His car is very fast. I have seen it numerous times and my friend works on it whenever something goes wrong.

But thats not the car I raced in the video. When I raced Marc I was actually racing against an Evo and after about 5 seconds into the race I hear him downshift and he instantly flies by me in the left lane. But as fast as his car is, it looks like complete sh*t. I wouldn't get caught dead driving in that thing.

Exodus, I think we're just saying that they are fast, not that it was that amazing. You gotta watch out for those b5's, there are a bunch of them running around with 350 whp plus, and they are easy to get to 500. They will kill almost anything with that much, even a murci.
