M275 BiTurbo is a different league than an M113 Kompressor...especially when modified. Stacked up against Motorsport's V10, the arsenal of torque is not only far greater, but is on tap earlier in the powerband. And once you factor a little ECU tuning...well, not enough to reel in the Supra, but more than enough to chew up a few M-Cars.

I'm pretty sure his is stock, I certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to mess around with a modded V12TT.

Haha. That Dinan 5.7 package would make things a bit more interesting though...even with some of the most powerful 600's out there. I'm really itching to see what kind of numbers it will put out down the strip.

CH, I wish you were in the area. I'd love to put things in perspective for you.

I've already raced a modified M6 (Vorsteiner, headers, ecu, intake, exhaust), car was on the cover of Eurocars, and went door to door with him and by the time we entered triple digits, he started his slow decent to 2nd place. I even had my top down.

M6 STOCK is faster then your M5, is it not?



Like I said, just messing around here. No pun intended, like ytryc32amg said, there's always someone faster. Enjoy what you got.

Honestly I have a really hard time believing that unless you're chipped. No offense but your car makes 493 ponies stock and weighs 500 lbs more than an M6. Modded, and driven properly, he should have wrecked you. I've been driving this car for a long time, have become very good at it, and have raced modded and stock 55's and 600's.

It's a given you should take him from a dig, but at highway speeds an M5 or M6 would pull you.

Yes, you can buy a used 7 series for around $22k, but most people 25 under dont want a 7 series. They want a sti, evo, mustang, m3 or even a c32.

I work in irvine and i see ferrari's, maserti's, porshe and aston martins where i work. means nothing and doesn't relate to what the original poster was talking about.

The guy states a story about beating a BMW and you want to show a 6 cylinder your quads Why would an E60 M5 owner even make that comment to someone that has 6 cylinder 3.2 liter. Like me saying to a 328 owner that posted a kill story against a 230 that oh well I will show you an AMG badge if you want to run me. What is the point of course your car would destroy a stock C32. The guy did not say he has the fastest car on the road. Maybe this BMW owner was trying to show the C32 his back end but in this specific case it did not pan out for the BMW. Now if you made the offer of showing your quads to a V12 TT then that would be logical.

I am really just busting you in fun for even saying to someone that has a 6 cylinder that you would kick their ***. Well I would hope so.

I have owned both MB and BMW and each is great in their own way. And yes if I could trade the C32 for an E60 M5 I would so it in a heart beat.
