Thumbs down

Wow, this Marc kid is quite annoying. I guess some people just don't come out of that one phase.

Marc, what people are trying to tell you is that you lost. Whether or not he has a $75,000 car or you have "OEM" parts, doesn't matter. You lost. You come up with the point that "My car only cost $8,000" and "my car isn't even heavily modded". Of course the term heavily is relative but this is a race and the only thing that matters in a race is the victor and it wasn't you. On second thought, I won't even finish writing my thoughts out because you're just going to come back with another reply reiterating the same things and it has gotten quite redundant. I fully understand why you were banned from the other forums and wouldn't be shocked to see you banned from here.

Is this his car? With the long list of "stock mods"?

I disagree. He doesn't appear to be playing the role of the sore loser, congratulating ItalianStallion on his win off the bat, and going on to say that his car was not "heavily modified" as some assumed it to be. He also stated that his car has a few bolt ons, never claiming his car to be stock.

You fellas seem to be misunderstanding his original post. Stating that his car has "OEM Turbos from an RS4" is not the same as claiming his own S4 to be OEM. I figured that he was trying to say he went the route of using OEM Audi upgrades instead of aftermarket ones. Sure, he could been more clear in his explanation, but he hasn't claimed his S4 to be completely stock. I do not believe that a couple bolt on's qualify a car to be "heavily modified" to any regard, especially considering that the RS4 turbos are a common replacement to worn/faulty S4 turbos.

Also, the video link you posted is of a different car. The one in the OP video is silver, not blue.

The blue car is indeed one of marc's cars, just not the one of him racing ItallionStallion.

I recognize the track in that 10sec vid as Lebannon Valley NY,haven't been there in a decade

Since when is Injen rice?

None of my parts came from Ebay either lol.

I find the accomplishment more worthwhile because Bobby is just recently mastering stick shift. That is why I was saying it was an accomplishment, which in a way is a COMPLIMENT for your car Marc.

That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Bobby, good run, great ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Marc, your car is fast and I only say this next part because you insist on it, it's cheap. So, good run as well.

Is it far? I really wish I could get to the dragstrip more often...but my last trip out to Englishtown resulted in me being stuck in standstill traffic and gettind 1 run in at 9pm. What tracks do you know of Rob? Hows Island Dragway?

audi_guy, I know that the car I raced isn't a 10 second car. The video that was just recently posted of the blue car is Marc's other S4 which runs mid to high 10's. I never claimed to have raced this one. The car that I raced in the video is his silver S4 which has Stage III mods but doesn't have the gutted interior.

Island is 45-60min from me,so figure at least 90min from the T.Z.;if you dont have drag radials your Z06 will never hook as the track prep SUX at Island,my car wont even hook. But you can easily get in 12+passes and if you get there when gates open you can actually hot-lap as it's not that busy until later.

Lebannon Valley is way up the Thruway, actually close to the Mass. border. It's probably 1.5hrs from my house, haven't been there in years;they shot an episode of Pinks there recently. It gets crowded like E-Town.

If you get to Atco early(when the gates open) on a test&tune nite you can get alot of runs in;but it gets crowded too.

E-Town is,well E-Town;the lines are ridiculous so I don't even bother unless im invited to a private rental during the week

+1 Island blows goats. I took my Sup there and was too embarassed to post the numbers. Tires spun until halfway down the track into 3rd gear.

Time and money my friend. My only free hours are during the night time. Track rentals are always during weekdays and I can't miss work for that. Plus, I love racing at least once a week. Track rentals are more like once a year. But hopefully when one of the local rentals comes up, I can join if I'm lucky enough to have the time to take off work and drive 2 1/2 hours out to Atco for the day.

Atco has street/grudge racing at night every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Pay your fee, do your thing. That's THREE times a week by my count.

Here's a link to the schedule: ATCO SCHEDULE

Bro, I get outta work at 5pm and by the time I'd get there it'd be 8pm (no traffic and skipping dinner...and thats rush hour so traffic will kill)....maybe I should move closer to a track.

Dude you gotta BE at Atco by 5pm,traffic on the NJTurpike Southbound is deadly at 5pm.....you'd be lucky to get to the track by 10pm if you left Westchester@5pm.
I'm sure you know that already, and thats a major reason I stopped going there on weeknites.Matter of fact going to any track on a weeknite sucks;I've just been doing the private rental thing as of late.

Yup...I've never ventured out to Atco, but the few times I've gone to e-town after work were a complete disaster. If only they'd open up a strip somewhere on LI or Dutchess or Orange County....

But based on those vids i think itallion stallion did a pretty good job, especially since it takes time to adjust to that kind of car. And that heavily modded s4 gave him a run for his money regardless, but a kill is a kill. Great race guys.

Thank you. The runs weren't for money...it was all for testosterone pumping fun, glory, and entertainment to those like yourself .

Also, note that we made sure there were no other cars in front of us. We don't race by dipping in and out of cars to see who has more ***** (that only happens on random encounters). We make sure there is a wide open stretch of highway.
