this thread is hillarious. First of all, [edited]... with your ego you must be making at least 10million a year. i find this very very unlikely, i could be wrong. Second, i do believe your parents have something to do with this, if not you would have explained to us how you are making this much money... e.g. type of job. I for one have a family that makes millions but unlike you, im not flaunting it. I own my own Cafe in Chicago and study medicine, and my parents havent helped me (except paid for my school-undergrad). not that they havent bought me a car a couple of times, but they way you are defending your stance that your parents havent helped you makes me think you are hiding something or embarrassed to be one of those people that live off their parents. theres nothing wrong in being spoiled... right? lol.

Anyways, I highly doubt even a BS with 500RWHP is going to run away from a stock C6 Z06.

Dude...who's the tool, you are the one jumping to conclusions about my situation and I am not flaunting anything...I don't even have my nice cars listed in my profile. The only reason I started on that other {guy} was because he too said it was daddys money. All any body cares about is money...I could care less, I have been around money my entire life. I own a trucking company JR Cartage, I started it, I run it, I own it. I currently have 60 trucks (semis-18 wheelers) running in Chicago and Dallas 18 plus hours a day 6-7 days a week and I soon will be running trucks in Atlanta.

I could really care less what most of you people think on here, most of you are bust out losers that will never own a real car let alone 15 of them. Any time someone posts about a kill people jump up in arms and say " well a modded one would have done better" I've seen Honda Civics run high 9's, I know anything is possible.

BTW, if you come from so much money how come you are living in the ghetto? Gurnee is a near ghetto suburb my friend. If I would have seen Highland Park or Lake Forest I may have been impressed, but Gurnee???

If indeed this is your dads co. you certainly don't act professional, you sound like a child arguing in the sandbox on who's dad has bigger muscles

Quote from your supposed co....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dedication
Our management team has over 60 years combined experience in the transportation industry and is dedicated to holding each employee to the highest of professional standards.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

You need to educate yourself on the c6 Z06 it'll own you all day long, go to corvetteforum.com plenty of low 11 1/4 mile runs/slips, plus a 10.90 @ 127+ on a BONE stock c6 Z06

what was your RWTO again how much does your dads bs weigh?

My parents have restaurants in Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, and Gurnee. This is not including the numerous Strip Malls, Plazas, retail spots, restaurants, homes, farmland, that we own but rent out. LOL. Just because I was born in Gurnee doesn't mean I am ghetto. I speak 4 languages, understand 6, and read and write in 8, have 3 degrees all in sciences, studying Medicine, own my own Cafe/Gelateria (yes my own in Chicago-- this is not including my parents restaurants). BTW, I live in Old Gurnee before Gurnee became what it is now, esp. since the mall came in.

Anyways James Stancel, your company was started in 2004 and currently has 30 employees. Your company makes a GROSS sales of about $3,500,000. Lets see, after paying employees, taxes (30+ percent), insurance, etc. I cannot seem to understand how a person making $1,000,000/yr thinks they are better off than most others in here, esp. since you are making "as much in one month as they do in 2 years" or something along those lines. I would love to tell you that I am personally making that much, I am not, Im just a small cafe owner trying to be a doctor, but I can tell you that even though my parents own restaurants, they make that much with just one of their business (and we have 3 full out businesses and many other plazas and strip malls that make good money) and no one in my family is even close to as cocky as you are.

What I am trying to say is that you should stop being so defensive to others calling you out on some of these races, you have put a fast car, which the BS is, to supercar status. I am sorry, but a stock BS is not going to stay even with a supercar like a GT or a Z06. I am not saying that I wouldn't love the BS but there are better cars out there imo for the money. Congrats on making a great modified BS but get your head out of your....... and start talking nicely to others that have opinions too.

Not to jump in the middle here, but I too have seen stock Z06s run low 12s

Contrary to your statement, a BS CAN stay with it.

Carry on

LOL, i know but I have also seen them trap at 125+mph and seen them dip in the 11's. STOCK for STOCK, the BS should theoretically stand no chance, especially since stock SRT-10 Vipers are being walked by stock z06's all day.

Just like Ferrari and Lamborghini drivers, not all of them know how to fully extract every ounce of power out of the car. But I do agree, a good driver, good conditions, equals a fast CAR!

For the record I did end up making it to the track to day, but it was a joke. rained all night and morning, track dried out late morning. Today was the first day the track was run by anyone all season, no rubber...GREEN track as expected and about 98% humidity. temp was mid 60's. you will note some real screwy MPH's due to everyone spinning...take a close look at my time vs my last years time and MPH

My buddies with their Z06's posted the following times.

Stock 08 13.44 @ 110mph
13.49 @ 112mph

07 w/ exhaust ECU and intake 13.15 @ 114mph

My Car 13.2 @ 116
13.19@ 116

****Last fall, bone stock I posted a 12.21 @117 w/1.79 60ft****

My 60 ft times were terrible 2.32 peddled it 1/8 mile before I found traction.

BTW, there were 4 Z06's total at the track, the fastest one I saw today posted a 12.86 and it was not stock. Everyone was running 1 second plus off their regular times, and some of these guys were bracket racers that claim they can run the same e/t back to back to back.

I was not aired down, running 44psi. Was planning on airing down 10psi for next run and another 10psi the run after that.

I only got 2 runs and then the rain came. Obviously the track conditions were a complete joke.

Can anyone estimate what I would have run if I were able to duplicate my 1.7 60ft based on my mph and e/t?

I do have video, but why post these pathetic times. The video does sound and look cool smokin em down the track

BTW, i love the SL600, i am even considering that over the SL55, I just wish they had all the extras of the SL55, like quad exhaust, alcantara dash display, sporty trim, etc. But the power on the SL600 is ferocious, 11's @ 120 stock from a non AMG car.

I live in Glenview area with my fiance for the time being before leaving for med school and since I was there this morning and all day today at my cafe, I haven't really seen it poring. It was sunny at one moment but most of the day cloudy, but i think other than a brief moment of drizzle (maybe 5 minutes) its been pretty dry. Hmm. Weird, esp. since you are only about 50 minutes right now from my cafe. 112 mph traps from the Z06, can you please send a video of that run!!!! Thats pretty pathetic, even for rain. The new C6's non Z06(with 430hp or something like that) are trapping as high as 120 stock (dry weather of course).

Call the track, they closed the track at about 1:30 due to rain and even issued vouchers for the 9th of May. Everyone was slow today. The big alcohol and top fuelers would not even run and skipped there slot to get more rubber down....call the track and verify if you want

.again, I'm just posting what happened at the track today FURTHERMORE THERE WERE OTHER PEOPLE FROM THIS FORUM OUT THERE THATI'M SURE CAN BACK UP EVERYTHING I JUST TYPED. BETTER YET I'M GOING TO GET A PRINT OUT OF EVERYONES TIMES

i checked the weather, you are right there were sporadic patches of rain clouds around the chicagoland area. I still think the Z06 should have been trapping higher, I guess they were taking it easy since all the power and that rain on the track would have caused them to go out of control.

you are a sorry excuse for a person, there were 4 Z06 up there and they were all running slow....every car up there today was running slow and very poor 60ft. The best 60ft I saw was a 1.9, that should let you know how well the track was hooking up.

LOL. Do you think by calling Gurnee--- Ghetto you are hurting me? Nope, not even close. The way you are acting does not prove to me you are a business owner. James Stancel, entrepreneur, would not be shouting Ghetto and getting so defensive. With such big operations, sponsorships, etc. you should have more things to do than be a ***** online. BTW, if you search on google your name you can find your picture, you look weird and not even close to someone i should be scared of, or threaten of. LOL. A lot of people act tough on the internet because they cant do that in real life.

As you can see, I have yet to threaten you like you have with me, I have yet to call you names, like you have, I love it when people like you can only get back at other people through rage and name calling rather than rational phrases and comebacks.

Bottom line is the only car I have lost a race to was an SLR...in a roll on, and I held my own pretty well, it was not walking hard from me.
I think it was this post that really got me aggravated with the OP. How can you just talk to others with opinions like that because their opinion or knowledge doesn't coincide with yours?
