these cars have been rivals... for a long time but which one would win? they are basically the same..i would say EVO

You must be trolling now. Anyone can find videos of riced up Evos beating any car. You'll notice there are not many E55 videos racing Evos...I would surmise because most E55 owners do not find an Evo kill to be that big a deal. Stock for stock it is no contest. I personally have beaten two Evos in my lifetime on the interstate and it was not even close. Maybe from a dig it would be different depending on my traction issues.

I wonder if we can have that in our benzez.

I believe the new cars coming out from MB will have some sort of launch control...seems to be the fad now.

well yes the mb are fast ... very fast actually lol.....but take an stock evo and a stock e 55 amg or any amg i guess on the track and the evo would dominate...

A flash can change that number very easy. Mine is set at 6811 rpm. With a stock set of tires these cars can run easy low 1.6 60's. I've done as well as 1.57 on 18" street tires.

i dont know why people are acting like someone just shooved a stick up there butt. If you don't like it, dont click on the link. People post crap about non-mercedes cars all the time, for example porches, audi's and everyone worships the overhyped 335i bmw.

The only difference is that this is a japanese car not a german car. For the money you get a lot of car in terms of performance with a sti and evo.

But there's more to a car then just speed, there's comfort, utility and styling.

for me, i appreciate all fast cars. Whether its a ls3 corvette, turbo evo or a supercharged amg. All these cars are relatively fast, but they all do it differently. Thats what i can appreciate about these cars, there not all the same and they offer different things to different people.
