Happy Days! I beat an M3! (SLK320)
Yes it's true! I nailed an M3 the other day heading west out of Boston.
It was relatively late in the evening, and I pulled away from a toll booth and moved to the farthest left lane (of 4 lanes) to pass some slower moving vehicles. Once past them, I pulled into the 3rd lane and paced mself at around 85mph (my usual cruising speed).
Anyway, I'm rolling along, and this green M3 pulls up to me in the leftmost lane, slows down to take a look at the SLK, and then beats it. Now I'm thinking "M3 - I'll never keep up", but I floor it anyway and find around 120MPH. Well, he'd arrived at the tailend of a traffic grouping and so instead of a straight race, it turned into a weaving through traffic race (very irresponsible and too much fun!). The crazy thing is, I lost him; I passed him, he kept up with me for a while but then slowly started to drop back.
As it turned out he was taking the same exit as me, and, at the lights, he was about 4 cars behind me.
Sometimes, power isn't everything!

I think it's stupid to play in traffic. If it's a REAL kill, you won't have to weave in and out of the traffic.
a real kill would be something like you pulled away from him when you both floored it.
But if you are proud, oh well.

I am sure the M3 driver was just toying with you in the beginning. After he "followed" you gasing 1/4 of the way and decided the game is over after you went crazy in and out of traffic. I wouldn't follow if I was driving the M3. Life is too good! Nice kill anyway.
