C32 vs. Gallardo Superleggera

I believe Jason's car has trapped just above 125mph. I am not sure you are going to find any real drag times for the Superleggera. The magazine times have it trapping around 125mph...which means at a track (where the trap speed is determined by averaging the speed of last 60ft of the run) it would probably knock up to 2mph off that 125mph figure.

0-150 MPH: 15.81. C32 is one fast mother, but um, 4.5 secs is the highest 0-60 I've ever seen out of that car. Must my two cents.
I hope when the Mas gets here, when I take it in for service, they loan me a helicopter...

Now Tom, are you causing problems again? Haha.. I hear stinky story in the midst. And by the way dragtimes show the Gallardo Superleggera tracked 0-60 MPH: 3.51, 0-100 MPH: 7.91

I can't help myself.....I am the parsley in the middle of the soup... (it sounds better in Italian). The link below is from Car & driver...I think that post at Drag Times is using this same information (go to the "data sheet" link on the C&D website). The only difference is the 15.8 secs 0-150 is actually the time to 140mph...every other time corresponds...

An anecdotal story of just how fast the Superleggera is...a friend of mine has one. The day he picked it up from the dealership he ran it out to Summit Point (a racetrack in WV) for the Ferrari of Washington's track day. With just the mileage out to Summit Point (about 50 miles) he was out on the track. I was there that day....and the Ferrari 360 Challenge cars...the race cars...not road going Challenge Stradale's....could not pass him on the main straight. That takes some serious speed.
He also has a 599GTB and said that the Superleggera feels as fast down low...but not quite as fast on the top end. I have attached a pic from that day.

It actually looked really good with the green tape..the Ferrari of Washington guys prepped the car and went a little crazy.... The tape in person was brighter...I was joking with the guys and said... "wow you guys busted out Ithaca Verde tape just for the Lambo's"

Was it Curious "obama" George? Oh sorry, thats not right.
Lord, I apologize..
See Story:
Hurry, hurry, step right up! Get yourself a cool monkey/Obama t-shirt.
Marietta bar owner Mike Norman says the T-shirts he’s peddling, featuring a look-a-like of cartoon chimp Curious George peeling a banana, with “Obama in ‘08″ underneath, are not meant to offend.
Norman acknowledged the imagery’s Jim Crow roots but said he sees nothing wrong with depicting a prominent African-American as a monkey. We’re not living in the (19)40’s,” he said. “Look at him . . . the hairline, the ears — he looks just like Curious George.”About a dozen prostestors rallied against the shirts Tuesday afternoon, condemning them as racist and asking Norman, longtime proprietor of Mulligan’s Bar and Grill on Roswell Street, to stop selling them.
Marietta native Pam Lindley, 47, joined the protest after reading about the controversy online.
“I don’t want people to think this is what Marietta is all about,” she added, motioning towards the tavern. “This is what some people think the South is still like. Marietta’s come a long way but I guess it’s still got a little ways to go.”
What’s just as scary is the poll results so far. I grabbed this last night from the same web-page.
