Those videos were hilarious of you trying to do a burnout with the traction control on.

As for vids of me doing a burnout with the TC on, that was with the TC off dumbass. Dont worry, coming from a guy with a 30K E55, I wouldnt expect much more.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. You are then possibly the worst driver I've ever seen.
If you can't keep a pulley install together, good luck with your TT project. You'll need it.

lol that POS is still better and more realiable then your ex- SLR lol.
Mercedes makes great cars dont get me wrong but after i pick up my Z the only mercedes vechile i would ever consider picking up again are the G500 and the 2001-2002 S55,CL55 or E55 because those were the bulletproof models.
My 01 clk55 is to me what a AMG should be.... its very fast. i can burn rubber at 40mph in 2nd gear and the thing pulls like a bat out of hell. I beat my car good for 45k miles so far and this thing is going strong like the day i got it. no fallen cranks here

As for my Pulley, when a certain someone who gives everyone advice on this board tells some that the torque spec is 250ft lbs, thats what happens. Not a big deal, put back on 148 ft lbs plus 90 degree all is well.
As for reliability, 10k miles on SLR and never a problem, not to mention sold for 20k more than I paid for it.

As for the Z06, its a nice car for the guy on a tight budget.

Nice one. You might want to hire a competent mechanic next time.

I was watching alot of this cars runs and it seems to flatten out alot on the top end. Is there a speed limiter that prevents the Killer B from accelerating or is the last gear too long? Maybe they shut down early in all 4 races I watched but it looked to get the jump in all the races and hold the cars off until the end when all of em pass as if the Z runs out of powa. Whats the story and was damage done when the shiftwas missed allowing the SLR to run away?

who cares about after 160 or 170 lol
WHERE ARE YOU GONNA DRIVE EVEN CLOSE TO THAT FAST ON PUBLIC ROADS.![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
A slightly modded z06 with intake, exhaust, and tune will destroy a SLR from light to light... the 1/4 mile and pretty much any speed below 160 that they do a roll from.
and KURV dont insult other memebers before i lay the pimp hand down on your biatch ***

MBWorld can be such a great source of entertainment. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
I posted this in the SLR forum a few months ago:
The difference is the safety aspect. While the Vette's abilities are no doubt impressive, the extreme variance of cost can be attributed to carbon fiber versus fiberglass. The SLR is made out of a material lighter and 4x more durable than steel, and is arguably the "safest" supercar. Still, can't beat the best performance bang for the buck the Vette has to offer.
Essentially, it's not Mercedes' $500K worth of performance engineering versus Chevrolet's $80K, but rather the engineering of the entire car overall.

No argument there

Plus the SLR looks so ridiculous! I was at Champion Motor Group in LI yesterday and they had a gorgeous black SLR on the showroom. I love the dramatic front end. Merc did such a good job making a semi-practical exotic car. If you are in the exotic market, a used SLR can be had for a reasonable amount.
