just found this thread...stallion nice run...i saw mention of an m3 somewhere in there...i know of an m6 that would love to give u a run in yonk...er, mexico? lol...let me know, as ive been looking to test my car against what is said to basically be the staple of speed at this point

That's not a test. Unless the M6 is heavily modded, you'll see nothing but 'vette tailights. I was able to pull a couple cars on a stock M6 when my 55 was stock down to the air filters, and I know the outcome of tangling with a C6 Z06 even now with 470+ WHP.

Damn, 10 cars is ALOT! I lost to a built/stroked 2.3L evo with built trans, cams, lightwieght, etc etc. I was on my 19's though. Cams go in this weekend, 18's with dr's go back on, and rematch with nitrous and race gas next week!

Dunno how much the VRP cams are gonna make on my car. I'm going to be the first non factory sc 55 to try them. Baseline dyno tonight and I will dyno after cams to see. Alberts E55 made ~30whp and ~40wtq form 3500 rpm to redline and I'm going form NA grind cams to sc grind cams so we will see. I will be happy if I see the same numbers as Albert. I only lost by half a car to the Evo on the first pull and I spun a little bit because we went from a 40 roll and I was on 19" street tires. He did get me by 1.5 - 2 cars by our last pull (heat soak) and we went til his car topped out which was only a lil over 160

...unless he's coming back with race fuel/methane and a little juice of his own.

Got a baseline dyno and looks like the car is running REALLY rich, like 10.0 rich! 
Getting wideband installed tuesday. Anyways, my friend who was supposed to pick up the cam bridge bolts didn't so install is gonna have to wait til next weekend. I will keep you posted

Fun night in Mexico.
I did a highway roll with a black C63 AMG. He had smoked tail lights. Car sounded very, very loud and throaty for a stock car. We did 3 different runs. The first 2 I was in 2nd gear and we started at about 45-120. The C63 stood with me for about half a second and then was left back by about 10 lengths. The 3rd race I went from 1st at 30mph. I got lots of wheels spin but was still able to pull easy once the RPM's started to climb.
Obviously a Z06 beats a C63, but I'm just posting it here for fun since I'm a huge MB fan and an even bigger fan of the C63. I was really impressed with it. The other reason I'm posting it is because about an hour after that, I got to race a 996TT
We both went from 2nd gear from like 30-110. Honestly, I think that the C63 could run with or maybe even pull on a 996TT. I thought it would be faster but it was toast. I'd love to see the results of a C63 vs a 996TT. I have a feeling the C63 may suprise us. That car is one quick SOB. Best part of it was the exhaust though...what a rumble
Fun night! Hopefully my boys can get some vids of the C63 for your enjoyment. I'm out! (waking up at 4:45am for work and it's almost 1am lol). Peace
BTW: my boy's Stage II E55 went against an E92 M3 a few months ago and he told me he annihilated it. From the description, the M3 should be a solid kill for a C63. AMG definitely came out on top of M this time.
