Welcome. You'll find most here are just enthusiasts that like all brands. Each has their strengths, and I'm a fan of the M cars, but again, you probably won't see much more than 'vette tail lights, but that's not the point is it? Most of us just don't get Gustav. We have a rather famous member who drives a M5 and no one gets their panties in a wad when he honestly pulls an AMG in a race. good luck and post a vid if you can.

lol exactly, its always fun to try...i think against a stock z06, i would def have a chance...dunno about a modded one tho...and yeah, i dont really pay too much attention to gustav...glad to hear that things are good over on this side tho lol...i have an e63 amg as well, so i guess ive found a new family hah

Well, unless your M6 can flat out rape the E63, you're screwed. It's hard to believe how much faster my car is over a stock E55/63 and the only time I got to play with a Z06 we had traffic. There's no doubt in my mind I had no chance. Zero. For the 55's especially, the trick is to get them to run from a dead stop and hope the guy doesn't have a really good grasp on how to get it out of the hole, really. With a stock Z06 and a clueless driver, you should be able to pull him, but most anything can happen. Have fun and be safe.

well, to be honest, my m6 pulls away from my e63 just about like its standing still lol...from 60 its not even a contest...ive taken a z06 before but it was a convertible, so im sure it was a bit heavier/slower...id be stupid to try to race a z06 from a dig, but from a roll i think i stand somewhat of a shot...

The M6 is FAST from a roll, don't let anyone kid you. That high-revving V10 and 7 speed SMG are a devistating combo. If you're highly modded then of course you have a chance of taking me on the highway. Those things are smokin' fast once they're rolling.

Trust me, it will be a race. Don't downplay a modded M6 on the highway dude...those things are wicked. And yes, we NEED footage of it so I can add it to my youtube memories lol.

ahh, you might be right. i didnt really pay that much attention, all i knew that he had the top down and i definitely saw the Z badges. could've been a c5 though, you are right

I believe Renntech Stage 6 is with the Top mount intercooler. I had a Renntech stage 5 and the top mount intercooler (a.k.a SLR intercooler) was stage 6. I would love to at least see a picture of this setup as well as some time slips..

Just noticed this. The Z06 is and has only been offered as a coupe. If you raced a convertible, then it was a poser who put the Z06 vents and badging on a regular C5. There's a guy near me that did this, and I just shake my head.
