smoked by a new maxima
man with the 255 hp...my 192 couldnt compete. it was kind of embarassing. we were at a stop light and just went. i stayed up with him for a couple seconds and then bam he just went off and then cut me off and turned into the intersection. i was pretty impressed. nissan upgraded their engines nicely. hehe i know most people post kills. well i got killed. no biggie:p

true no biggie but it still sucks... seems like nowadays for 30k you could buy a 250 hp plus car easily..... that goes 0-60 in less than 6 or 7 seconds.... let's face it... there are so many new cars out there that can smoke the c230k easily.... Makes you wanna get a porsche eh?

i did beat a maxima but the driver was probably not a good driver, cuz it was right before the on ramp to the interstate and when we took off, i had him by about a car, so i though he wasn't racing, i tapped my breaks and once i did that he came up again and i floored it again, cut him off from the right and jumped on the highway, it felt pretty good my gas tank was almost empty so that probably helped.

Ya got smoked by a Maxima....but guess what??? He was in a Maxima, you are in a BENZ. He will never get the same attention that you do in your BENZ....no matter how much faster, or what he does to that Maxima. So sit back and enjoy.

Don't feel bad. These maxima's subarus mitsubishis and stuff are designed to be quick from a stop, and that is it. I can tell ya that in my benz with 300,000 miles, i still beat some of these guys. 0-60 can be close, but once I get into toppin 2nd gear and goin 3rd, their is simply no chance. I know whether someone is going to beat me in the first few seconds. I gotta slow first gear, but when second gear pops in, i go right past em, usually.
Everyone likes a subaru with a nice engine and cloth seats that will last for 50,000 miles, but everyone else loves a mercedes with a nice engine that is still lasting for 300,000 miles, had all the standard 2003 subaru features in 1989 and still has some pep.
And, no, I don't drive the G fast

have you run with the NEW WRX, the NEW Maxima, G35, EVO VII yet? They are not just quick from a stop, they are HELLa FAST too and handles like sports cars.
lebomb, the NEW Maxima are not some cheap car. If they can get a Maxima, they can afford a C-coupe. After all, MB are not as expensive as it use to be or Nissan, Mistu and Subby are getting more expensive
