Ran a GTI 1.8T and a BMW 3 series
On my drive to work this morning or should I say late morning I ran into a couple of cars. As I entered the fwy a fixed up GTI slowly came up on me, then floored it so I can hear his exhaust. I took that as "lets run". On the back he only had 1 emblem that said turbo. I figure its a 1.8T, I slowly crept past him to check out his car and he had a front mount intercooler. He was with his Girl so I guess he wanted to show off. Anyways, there was no traffic and as soon as it opened up we took off. He was behind me tailgating and when I floored it he kept up for about 2 seconds. As soon as I hit 5000rpm it was over. I just walked away on him and I think he gave up, I'm not sure. I looked back after I finished 5th and he was way back there. So I waited. Then I noticed he was being followed by a 3 series. As soon as he was about 10 cars behind me he wouldnt push it any more. The 3 series crossed over 3 lanes and floored it. As soon as he was just about to pass me I downshifted to 4th. We were side by side for about a sec then I pulled away and it was over.

Yeah it would be good. You knew I wasnt picking a fight though. 
I know you would have the HP advantage, but I'n not sure how much you would be giving back because of the weight. Your basically looking at a 20hp advantage on a pulies coupe. I think that would be a really good race myself.

I know you arent picking a fight. I always wondered myself. But I think the other car needs to be stick too. The autos seem to dyno a bit less. Around 180's.
