If you want to call a $40k sedan that easily runs low 13s bone stock and tops out a 173mph a slug, go ahead. That would include C5s, E39 M5s, and host of other sloths too.
Or I/E/dyno-tuned running 12s in the 113-114mph range giving pullied C32s a headache a slug, you're entitled to your opinion.
But it's your research that is lacking. 7 SRT-8s in the 10s, an eighth one trapping over 130mph:

And, they (the ones in the 10s) must have an insane amount of whp because even the one that trapped 11.9 was at 565whp... over 140whp of a stock E55, yet posts the same numbers. Don't forget, while the SRT-8s weigh 2-tons, so do the E55s!

When I said "the Black Series", yes it was in reference to JRcarts'. Even still, in a rolling-start, I don't doubt even a stock one (Black Series) would put up a fight against the GTR... you know, unless they have the ECU'd GTR.

The BS basically weighs the same as the E63, maybe 50-100lbs less, you now that right? It also has the same engine and tranny. GTR is a faster car stock to stock and the Z06 would humiliate it, the M5 traps higher too. I like the BS, and it's a good all rounder but freeway dominator it is not. Leave that to the S65.

And yes, for 116-118mph trap speeds, an S/C or heads/cam will be needed.

A GTR would not beat the Black Series-- especially not in a rolling-start, and not stir up drama but I'm pretty sure a Z06 can't either. Regardless, even if he raced a Z06 and posted the story here lord knows it's going to start a fire. Yeah, I know... the car can't be beat. 
And also in regards to SRT-8_Turbo as well, price? Please-- a ricer excuse if I ever heard one. Fact is, and I don't know how many times I've said this, if I really wanted the fastest car on the block, I can very easily pick up a 88' Civic hatchback, strip it, drop a beefed up B16 in there, a couple go-fast bottles of juice, and run 9s all the day at the track-- yes, that's faster then any stock Viper ACR, ZR1, Zonda, BS etc. etc.
And... best part? It'd be for but a FRACTION of the price of any of those.
With that said, I do like my vented seats, navigation, distronic and convertible top, thank you.

+1..i agree its a ricer excuse. I hate it when a car gets beats, someone goes well if the car had this or this mod, i would've smoked that car.
Question? is it still considered a ricer excuse if a domestic lover uses it?

I was thinking about how cool it woudl be to have a C32, put the sport wheels on it, de-badge it, and put the C230 grill/upright star on it. I actually like the look of the C230, and I dont think too many people would expect it to be fast, even if they knew what to look for.

Mine has the upright star on the hood and cept for the wide tires on the larger wheels, the big brakes and the AMG badge on the rear and V6 Kompressor badges on the sides, it sorta looks like a regular C-Klasse. But the Ferrari Red is a bit of a give away.

I just came in here to say that my bone stock 04 E55 was tried by both a Challenger SRT8 and a Charger SRT8. If we were to put these races on a point systems, it would go as follows...
E55-2

Oh, but I bet if it had a supercharger, it would have been closer.

I just came in here to say that my bone stock 04 E55 was tried by both a Challenger SRT8 and a Charger SRT8. If we were to put these races on a point systems, it would go as follows...
