Slk55 vs E55
Just a little fun in Mexico... we were trying to do a couple runs from 45 to 120 but we had to cut it off due to traffic. I just got the car tuned recently and wanted to see how I held up against a E55 I was surprised with the results. I know he will walk me at higher speeds but in the second race I was actually very slowly pulling. Clearly with a tiny mod even a pulley he will take me but just cool to see how they stack up. I was very impressed with the tune I got the thing feels A LOT stronger like all the power was unleashed! Sorry for the BS at the beginning of the vid lol but the vid also gives you a little idea on how my car sounds the loud grumble is mine! Enjoy

cool I have been wanting to see how an slk55 does against an e55.. can you tell me a little more about the tune and how its done?
does your exhaust setup just have straight pipe after (after cats) all the way to the back? what is a sprinbooster? exhaust sounds good! it sounds goood
were u guys already in a low gear when the race started? if so what gear?
also what seems to be common in the 55 komp is heat soak...

Awesome video! SLK55 is a very light car and it can definitely surprise a lot of more powerful cars. I did very well against a stock 996TT when my SLK55 was also stock. I'm sure you're thinking about a supercharger now, right

I just talked to him yesterday and I think thats what I will do! Once he has finished the 1000hp SL project I think thats when I will start to work on mine! I want some crazy number but I dont want the thing to be a death trap lol I want to still hold the reliability factor! Once the project really gets on its way I will start a thread and post numbers up!
