Well, it's certainly a possibility. Kind of depends upon how close to their max operating speed they're running....if it spins faster than its factory max but is still well below the turbos' rated max, you're safe; if otoh the factory max is already close to the turbos' rated max, you might have issues.

Do you know which brand/model of turbos it has, and what stock max boost they're running?

I believe the 600's use a K24 turbo and produce 14lbs of boost (post I/C).
