SLK55 vs. Audi S6 and E46 M3
2006 SLK55, stock, S-mode. Happened to line up with a current model Audi S6 and an E46 M3... we went on green. Had both by 1-2 car lengths by the next light (about 2 blocks or so). The two of them were almost even. AMG FTW.

It appeared that they were both stock, and I think the M3 had a slight lead. It was hard to tell because I was in the middle lane and they were on either side of me. I know someone who has an E92 M3 w/ DCT (w/ exhaust) in my area, but we haven't had a chance to line up. Maybe a sedan or convertible w/o DCT would be a closer race.

Did u launch with tc on or off? in 1st or just in S mode?
I got crap load of wheel spin with off and with TC on in 1st gear made me look like a boy who drives a stick car for the first time.

TC on in s-mode. The SLK55 seems to launch a little better than the C55 if I remember correctly. It seemed like I got more wheel spin in the C55...
