'99 C43 vs '00 (?) Trans AM
I had a 2000ish trans am line up next to me the other day. The lane he was in eventually ended so i guess he thought he could jump out in front of whatever he pulled up next to. Unfortunately for him it was me. He started to creep forward right before the light changed, maybe 1/4-1/2 a car length in front of me. So i put the left foot on the brake and start to give it a little gas...light turns green and all hell breaks loose. Im sure anybody walking around that area had an eargasm from both of our exhaust. I pulled maybe 1 1/2 cars on him by 70 then had to shut it down before the next light. He pulls up with a WTF look on his face and we chat for a minute then go our seperate ways. Nice kid, nice car, but this time the Germans took the victory

good run... similar power, similar weight... did the guy say whether he had a slushbox or a 6MT? I'd expect the TA to pull a little if it was a stick...

Good kill! It's always more fun to out-drive a faster or equally-matched car.

true true. idk how big of a difference there is between a stock C32 and a stock C43, but my ex-roommates manual LS1 Camaro with just a lid and catback and stock street 245s (essentially stock) was dead even with me when I had a flash tune, code3s/c pulley, and intake. he was a pretty good driver though (i actually have a bunch of videos of this lol). guess it depends.

Lots of torque down low with the big 350.
A stock C32 should be a fair amount quicker than the C43, no? More HP, more TQ, just another 100 lbs of mass?

Looks like the C32 would be a better matchup for an LS1-equipped car.
