you will be surprised with the new camrys....i saw a camry (v6) beat a dinan 330i(chip, exhaust, intake and more) and an s2000(exhaust and intake)....i dont mean beat like 1 or 2 cars i mean 6 or 7 cars

A camry having 6-7 cars on the 330i maybe I might believe that (dianan not that much hp gain and intake and exhaust is nothing) BUT an S2000 with intake exhaust and still have 6-7 cars that's pretty hard to believe.
Did the S2000 driver not know how to drive?
what were the speeds they raced?

I have an 09' Altima SE and that thing smokes. It trashes my Benz R-500. That is one of the fastest cars i've ever had and i didn't even buy it for fun. IT was a cheap $22k Drive to work car. But between the CVT tranny and 270hp, i consistantly can get to 60 in under 6 secs and cruise along the Florida turnpike at 120-140mph. My R is smoother at the higher speeds, but wow, have 4 door family cars come a long way.

As the title says, I got walked and made fun of by a chick in a camry v6 and an "older" gentleman in a altima 3.5 LITERALLY IN THE SAME RACE! I was just cruisng @ 55 in a 45 on 441 heading south in Boca. Got around the camry minding my own business. Long story short a few minutes later I get a red light and she comes up on my left side. She looks and smiles at me, I smile back. When the light turns green I say f it i'm kicking down, all I hear are her tires hopping and chirping and she's walking away decently, but to my surprise I hear a VQ roaring to my right. I look over and see an old dude reeling in the camry in his altima. I just laugh b/c family cars have come so far in terms of hp and my 430 is just too heavy around town to hang. Anyone had similar experiences?

I used to have 2000 GS400 which was one of the fastest 4 door sedan when that model came out in 97. I hated it when those alti 3.5 and accord try to race. GS400 has 300hp and 14.2 sec 1/4. It's still faster but by a small margin. Now, I traded GS400 for E550, and I don't even bother with family cars.

an altima would beat an S500, too, but i guess a clarification is in order: I was referring to V-6 versions. I think an S500 *might* beat the 4-cylinder models.

09 accord v6 has 273hp and is prolly 500+lbs lighter than a 00-02 s500. they should be neck and neck then the merc walks after 80...

The 4 banger has no chance but the V6 Accord will beat it 100%.
I raced a 4 door V6 Accord and I had 1 car on him but was slowly pulling away from him. I raced a S500 and had 3 cars (this is not a lie it really was 3 cars). I also went neck to neck against a CL500 and I was the one who ended up pulling.
The S430 has 275 hp and 295 ft-lbs

But again for an 8 year old car these numbers are not bad especially for a huge sedan like the S Class

FWIW, I saw a honda accord this weekend with some MB rims, he didnt even bother to change the star and mb logo center caps.... hahaha Ill post a pic
