As the title says, I got walked and made fun of by a chick in a camry v6 and an "older" gentleman in a altima 3.5 LITERALLY IN THE SAME RACE! I was just cruisng @ 55 in a 45 on 441 heading south in Boca. Got around the camry minding my own business. Long story short a few minutes later I get a red light and she comes up on my left side. She looks and smiles at me, I smile back. When the light turns green I say f it i'm kicking down, all I hear are her tires hopping and chirping and she's walking away decently, but to my surprise I hear a VQ roaring to my right. I look over and see an old dude reeling in the camry in his altima. I just laugh b/c family cars have come so far in terms of hp and my 430 is just too heavy around town to hang. Anyone had similar experiences?

Atleast you had fun. HP to HP I think you guys are almost equal but the benz is pretty heavy. How was the beat? Would you have caught up? How many cars?
My similar experience was when I had mistaken a BMW 335 (4 door) for a 328 and I thought something was wrong with my car till I saw the 335.

I eased off at around 95. I would've reeled in the alti after 3rd(120mph) but the camry would've probably stayed @ 1 car til my gov'na. But I had nothing to prove they are 1,000 lbs lighter so around town I would have a hard time reeling. Even an auto is300 w/ a few mods held me off til 115. I probably should've opted for the 500 instead...

I had a 2007 3.5ltr v6 camry. It was a quick little car for sure. I raced my friends M3 convertible and kept dead even with it. They are very light cars with about 270ish HP.

what??? e36? or e46? I hope it's not an e46 because that is impossible. I took a camry and I cant take a e46. The e46 I raced wasn't convertible but with the cars he had on me even a convertible would still smoke me.

I crushed a Camry for you today as payback
he was trying to be a bit sporty for some reason, and looked like he wanted to read my trunk badges![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
note to you safety freaks out there (i'm only a junior safety freak), I tried to keep it under 75, but hit 82 by mistake

Good to see people's awareness of the sleeper family sedans out there. I also own a 99 camry but that's just for reliability and gas mileage. Thanks iamamused for crushing that camry for me, i'm actually thinking of an 03-06 s55 as my next. Vomit, there are camrys of all generations boosted and n/a that do high 12s low 13s. Anything can be fast w/ time and money... BTW the hybrid can't keep up w/ my 430 and i'm glad.

An s55 in a better buy and has less issues than a 600. We'll see how the funds go but I do know i'll need to get extended warranty(I did not with the 430) and it's been pretty expensive to maintain such an artistic masterpiece. Although the s600s and 65s have been producing more hp/tq than as advertised by mb which is crazy!
