CTS-v vs CLS63 Brabus
Today i raced CLS63 Brabus from 0-230 km/h or something like that
From 0-100 i was ahead by half car length then after 100 KM/h he starts to pull me hard and in 160 km/h he was ahead by 5 car length and by 230 he was like 10 car length or more ...
Wow this car is super super fast ... Any one here raced one before ??

I'll be the first to call BS. You sure it wasn't a CLS55 like when you got the two mixed up during a "race" in August....
Also, you sure your Jaguar supercharged ran down an S600? None of your stories add up...

What is CLS63 Brabus anyways ? does Brabus make performance parts for 63 engine ? They only have rims, bodykits, exhaust (doesnt add too much Hp) So basicaly its a CLS63 AMG....

My wife has a monster car, see pic, we were on a deserted drag strip which we turned onto the other day by mistake and a Bugatti Veyron started to tailgate her so she put her foot down and by the time we had got up to 235 mph the Bugatti was nowhere to be seen, but the guy was really cool and tipped his flat cap when he passed us and conceded he lost.. dadadadadadadadad "Mark! wake up its time for work...oh dear what a dream

His story was that he raced an apparently Brabus-modded CLS63 in his CTS-V and lost. He is recounting a race in which his car (the CTS-V) lost.
Is is implausible that a modded CLS63 could take a CTS-V?
And why would he lie about losing?

Guys, I would say that several people should get their facts straight here before jumping all over Mr. CTS here. Mr CTS might have run up against monster called the Brabus Rocket which is a competely overhauled CLS 63. This thing is a monster (spec: top 227 mph based on the 6.3 V12 which comes in S65 by adding twin-turbos = 730bhp) which costs $375K+. Not too many of these around. Also they do the same thing to SL where by they competely over-haul the car. Becuase of the modifications they really aren't MB anymore. Hence the lack of tri-stars and replacement with Brabus badge. Someone mentioend that Brabus just do rims, exhausts etc. This is very much untrue. For more see here:

CharlyE55 - you are missing my point here. My point was that there is a variant of the CLS out there that would verify Mr. CTS story which is not AMG and that in fact Brabus do much more than produce rims and exhausts. I never said the car was good value or made sense. Simply the fact that the performance specs (once it actually got moving) would be very much like what Mr. CTS would have seen. Like all over-powered Brabus machines, the main issue is laying down all that power. They do a C63 version which pumps out 740BHP = shear stupidity as they fit it with 285s and surely they wouldn't last more than 2K miles with any form of aggressive driving.

CLS63 Brabus is just a over priced piece of crap. Its basically just huge V12 engine in a body of CLS and what ??? $375K !!! Any Lambo Mucielago can smoke this what they call CLS63 Brabus. And Lambo cost even less.
I dont think you can find many of CLS63 Brabus in United states.

I am just comparing the in term of value. And YES, why cant we compare a CLS Brabus to Lambo ??? performace, price ... 4 doors not 4 doors doenst matter at all. And Lambo is just an example, let me ask you this, if you have a budget for a car $370K, will you buy a CLS Brabus ???

Personally, I'd take the LP670-4 SV but how do you define value in that range?

If my desire was an extremely fast, exclusive 4door, absolutely. Far better than a Maybach which would be too big for my taste.

What ? LP640 depreciate 50%.... what are you smoking ? CLS Brabus will depreciate much more and faster than Lambo. A Diablo 92 still cost $100K +

Factor in options and actual sales price of the used car and it may not be 50% but it's uncomfortably close.

What?! its not even close to 50% and who cares if its a Brabus !
That kind of car just depreciated so fast that new $350K + and in few years only $50k thats how fast they depreciate. How about just buy a CLS55 + Kleemann K4 mod
