We went out for some runs and I just got the chance to post the vids. 335i driver said his car was bogging. It was COLD out and my 55 felt super fast. My e55 is stock.

I def knew I was pulling but I thought he might have been bogging but when you listen to the video it doesnt seem like there is a issue. I don't know. My cuzn BRISK a 335 owner was in the car and I'm sure he will have a better explanation.

Yea, i hopped in with the 335i owner, it hard to describe, i think its either a clutch failure or clutch delay valve of some sort, not engine bogging, but it def took away and ROBBED alot of power and just would stop the pull everytime he changed from 2nd into 3rd.

The first video the 335i just spun 1st and had the 2nd -3rd clutchslip or w.e. no chance

In the second race we were in 2nd gear and had the delay going to 3rd, and we can hear us both notice it lol..

Def would be a good race with the 335i on low boost with pump gas and the mods he had, from being in the 335i i thought it would be a good race! too bad..

then of course the party got broken up by the POPO. before we can try again.

 

I think these little bi turbos are going to blow up soon from all this boost

 

They havent in 3 years, dont see why now.

Plus he wasnt running alot of boost anyways, just as much as i run on my daily driven 335, around 14-15psi... There are MANY guys who run full bolt on 335i/135i's on meth everyday at 18psi without a problem

335i got a spanking. Just tune the e55 it wouldve been ugly. I want to try that stock e55 when I get my c63 in couple days

 

OHHH I'll be more then happy to. I got plenty of runs in vs C63's from stock to highly modded. I just need to catch a GOOD race on camera. I'm only a PM away when you get it .

 

I have a feeling the N55 single turbo will be a better engine for highway pulls..

Just wait until it gets some good breakin miles. I hope I have a quick C63.
