I did something similar with Club Sportiva locally and wrote a 3-part article on it.

Aston Martin DB9 Convertible, F355 Spyder (Lambo was in the shop), Lotus Elise, Ferrari F430 6M with Tubi exhaust, Audi R8 6M, Porsche Cayman.

It was awesome. The Ferrari was simply amazing.

I highly recommend it, it's a fun day.

I DON'T COME HERE ANYMORE
I did WCD in Sept last year here in Mpls with a dealer principle buddy of mine-
it was great-the people running it are a blast to talk too, the cars performed as expected-the course was off the beaten path (no traffic on my trip in our out of town)-
we didnt have the SLR, we had the Vette, Gallardo (v8 trim), F430 Scud, Maser (hated it-cheap *** car) and Alfa 8C-F430 was on the top for me, then very close was the Alfa-it has an AMAZING sound on downshifts.
I can give you me referal # if you want it

World class driving- Mclaren SLR

I participated in the world class driving events twice. I attended the 2008 and 2009 events in Las Vegas where the SLR was offered for 30 minute drives. Due to the high cost of this vehicle, a driving instructor was arranged to sit with you during the test drive. I drove the car in automatic mode and can feel the car has so much torque that it pulls hard in every gear. The SLR was so quiet. When driven at normal speeds it feels like a bigger version of the Mercedes SL600. Aslo drove bunch of cars the same day including Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari F430, Ford GT, Porsche 997 GT3, Callaway Corvette, Noble M400, Audi R8. The F430 Scuderia, Gallardo Superleggera was added for the 2009 event. The SLR did not stand out as a fun car of the group. It did not offer the sound or thrill of the italian sportscars. However, it was the most expensive car in the group. Try out World Class driving. It is a great event run by a very professional group of people.
