2000 CLK320 vs 95-?? Mustang GT 4.6
drove my sister's 00 CLK320 the other day to shoot some pool with couple friends. On the way there I got onto the freeway driving around 85 mph and some dude in a Mustang GT 4.6 convertible with some bling bling wheels came up behind me tailgating. So i decided to slow down a bit to see if he'll try to pass me on the right and then floored it. He took the bait and moves into the next lane, and right before he got next to my door I floored it. He floored it too, as I can hear his loud muffler. To my surprice, the CLK stay even with the GT all the way up to 110 mph as he got caught by some slow car in front of him (that was pretty much my whole intention)
btw, I HATE tailgaters
especially when I'm already driving 85-90 mph and IS faster than everyone else on the freeway. If i was driving 75 mph, i'd be gladly moving out of the way.

Mustang are 100% pure **** cars. I'm not surprised when you told that you could stay even with him. Once I have seen a 00 mustang on a track in France and even a renault sport clio 2.0 16 V could pass it easily!
