COPS VS '41' *****'S
Another humorous cop story.
My friend races a blown alcohol 41 ****** in the Fastest Street Car series that runs low 7's to high 6's at arount 190. I was helping set up the rear suspension and he was making some 60 ft. test runs in the industrial complex where he keeps the car.
He made about six launches in the park leaving some seriously wide, long, black tire tracks. We were satisfied with the set up so he parked the car out front of his shop. Minutes later, the po po show up all angry and bent out of shape because someone called about the noise not to mention the massive and unmistakable tire tracks left on the pavement.
POPO: Obviously angry: "Is that your car?"
Buddy: Yes sir.
Popo: Reads buddy the riot act. Threatens with numerous tickets.
Buddy: "Never said I was driving"
End of story. No tickets. Pissed cop.
