Stock CLK 430 vs modded 2008 Subaru WRX Hatch
First of all, it was 4am, and the highways were 100% empty
A friend of mine own a 2008 WRX hatch with custom free flow exhaust (straight pipes) and K&N filter.
My CLK 430 have 35k miles and is 100% stock, also, its bulletproof (the armor weight around 120kg).
As my car is automatic, and he drives a four wheel drive manual, so we decided to do few rolling start as drag races would be a certain kill to me.
Both WOT at around 40mph, CLK quickly assumes the lead but when his turbo loaded he jumped and very slowly started to pass me, when he has a hood of advantage at around 60 mph, I started to catch him and pull away. It was close, but I assumed the lead and at around 80mph, he had no chances, I just disappeared, was like 5 cars advantage to me at 100mph.
We repeated the race many times an the result was the same.
Resume, WRX got smoked after 80mph.
