On two occasions I've seen a Veyron do hot laps at Laguna Seca. Once years ago by the factory driver (who spun out at turn 2) and another by a private owner giving charity rides at a function I wrote about.
It sounds like there are multiple whirlwinds whooshing around inside as it goes by.
The Carrera GT there that day sounded much better (and I believe was being short shifted).

The white got a goooood jump on him. That Veyron was kicking *** and the GTR's had similar performance figures so I doubt one would beat him when the first one got raped...

ooooooooooooo....that was freaking awsome.
That Veyron sounds like a JET at the start of the video and also from inside. And that GT-R shifts like a formula 1 car. The flames from the GT-R are soo awsome. Just watching that video raised my adrenaline. Amazing cars....I was thinking about the Z06 as my next 2 door, but this video has got me thinking now.
