'04 E55 vs '09 GT500 (modded)
I would just like to say that it was close...until he stopped spinning...
I believe he had a full exhaust (headers, too), pulley, and a tune. Not sure of the specifics, but he walked away from my pretty damned good.
Anybody else ever come across a GT500 in their E55?
Didn't feel like typing up a dramatized story, just thought I would share.

Stock GT500s run 12.x 1/4 miles. You'd have a slight advantage against one, so if he walked you hard his pulley mod must be making quite a bit extra power.

So I saw. If we were both stock, he'd be singing a different tune. Like they say, "If you can't beat them, join them."

Got a buddy with a stock GT500 rag top and it's a close race but the E is just a little bit faster from a dig or a roll in my experience. From a dig, they have serious traction issues and it takes a good driver to launch one. With a few mods, they make stupid power.
We've swaped cars and the GT "feels" faster to me but it isn't. Go figure.

I did race an '10 (550hp) convertible. I pulled on it slightly. I know my car is no slouch, but the modded GT500 was something serious.
