W210 vs W211 yes again!
I'm pretty sure he was stock. I'm was sightly modded. We took off from a light he jumped me 1/4 car lenght. from 1st to 2nd. We I hit 3rd I started pulling slightly were dead even when we stopped at the light. He says to me what you got in that. I said N/A slightly modded. He killed W210s before. He actually said I don't want to race anymore with a scared face It was fun for me 3rd gear is really strong for some reason.

Yes, it was a w211. I know, I can't explain it either. I raced other modded w211 and keep up to a point and then they slowly pull away. This time I was actually pulling. Could be driver error too! or maybe mine is just got bigger ***** from the factory along with my mods

Shoot, I've run cars that in my CLK55 would give me a pretty good race, and just annihilated them, not even close. No way would that CLK55 have hung with my CLS55 for any distance, and that car was 300 lbs lighter than a 210.
Now, if you're getting a jump it'd be a different matter, but if both cars start at the same time, a 211 should be 7-10 lengths out by the end of a 1/4 mile run, and buslengths before the 1/2 mile.

Pretty hard to swallow that you've kept up with stock, let alone modded, w211s for any appreciable distance. Maybe for the first 20-30', but not much chance beyond that unless he's running with his parking brake on.

Ya I know. Maybe I did get a bit of a jump (you know it's street racing)and less wheel spin then him. For what its worth he was right next to me for awhile and never passed me. No 7-10 lengths or buslength. for sure! Or maybe it's my powerchip & exhaust combo with a little sprint booster on top that did the trick
210 E55s dyno stock about 290-300 rwhp.
211 E55s dyno stock about 415-430 rwhp. Stock. You can add 40-50 for a modded one if they've done any decent mods to the thing.
Weight difference is only 300 pounds.
Let's suppose for the sake of argument that you picked up 20-30 crank, on the ultra-optimistic side, from the mods you've listed.
That still would put you over 100 rwhp down, not to mention the gobs of torque all through the rev range you're giving up.
Sorry, but the laws of physics are what they are. If you hung with a 55k for anything more than the first few seconds (after getting either a jump/spin), then there was something very, very wrong with it.

No, that wouldn't do it either, particularly not against a modded E55k.

Oh, and how would you expect to do against a Porsche Turbo over the same distance, given what you wrote in this post:

powerchip and exhaust maybe gave you 20-30hp? Sprint booster doesnt do anything power wise...

Taking stock power to weight ratio in consideration there is no way your car could be faster than a w211 e55. Even with your added exhaust/tune, your still no where close. Take a look at dragtimes.com w210 e55 are on the last page. lol

I can't believe this!
I know that your E55 W210 can't run with my W202 C43/55.
I ran a stck W211 E55 from a very slow roll and got him out the hole. However, by top of 2nd or 3rd gear I just saw the stck W211 E55 pull next to me and start to pull away from me as if I was standing still as the speeds got higher and higher.

People, this is why right here.
He probably didn't have it WOT, or it was his first time. He probably let up before redline and before each shift.
Don't forget how non-enthusiasts drive (or don't drive). My brother, a respectable family man probably hasn't floored a car he has driven in a decade. Nor open the hood. They are out there, and they are among us every day.

04 w211 E55
HAHAHAH Car fanatics gotta love it.
Im a big fan of the w210 e55 STILL but even with the mods no way it will hang stock vs stock given both cars are running at full potential. Ive run modded E55's stock and ive gotten destoryed and ive beaten C63's and E63's. No even slight chance of that w210 hanging with a modded 55.
BUT the OP is stating "his race" and I believe it might be a failed pump also because I have experienced it 1st hand.
The w211 guys I guess are trying to hint out dont think you'll encounter E55's and think you will pull on them. I believe this as well.
Good run !
