Firebird Kill

I don't know what engine the firebirds get, but it sounded loud and mean, as we came out of t-ball game (which by the way is the first game we win, 12 to 11, after 5 or 6 games), my wife, mother in law and son are in the car with me, there is this kid following us very close (I know by the lights it is a Firebird or trans am), and at the light he pulls next to us and rev his engine, then looks at us and sees the whole family .
At the green I punch it hard (probably against my mother in law's wishes, but I didn't ask ) trying to tech him a lesson, well he almost killed the engine as he didn't rev up enough to take off, I get it to about 60 mph and start braking for the light (again), he is about 3 cars behind me, pulls next to me and at the green we do it again, this time he did rev up a little better so he takes off almost ok and a little late, this time to about 50 mph he is by my rear bumper, at that point my mother in law starts complaining and I say, "you are right, i was just messing with him", and stoped racing. I noticed it was a firebird after I let him pass me.
Hehe, full car and he got beat up

pocholin,

I just love your kill stories. I rarely have the occasion to engage in any race and it is probably where I live. Too many retirees with Caddy and too many red necks with junks. Keep up the good work. Our E55 may be outdated but it still can kick some ***!

Thumbs up

Oh yeah. Most american cars can't turn. They're only good at straight line accelaration. I remember many times I beat the vettes and cameros with my Modified Honda Accord(2nd car). With a high speed and sloped-down right-hander near downtown LA, I passed them with no problem whatsoever. It puts a smile on my face when they become jokes in the rain.
