You guys are too funny.

I lived in that part of Jersey for a while and spotting any exotic was pretty rare, let alone a routine.

As far as a 30yo with a CL600. That's no big deal. They are $25-$30K. That list of mods are worth more than the car! The real problem with the story for me, was the Rolex Daytona. I had a Daytona, and I'm pretty sure that blurry picture was a knock off........ When he said that it kept great time, I knew he was dreaming, as anyone who has owned a Rolex knows they keep awful time.

This is 'cause you don't know how to SLAM IT UP properly! Anyone knows that a properly SLAMMED UP CL600 will beat anything on the road, and most fighter jets as well!

That's strange, my Submariner with Date go 5 minutes faster every month. It only go faster not loses minutes. A friend told me that need to service it.

Getting in late here (much like my Rolex) but wanted to chime in because my Submariner also is about 5 minutes off a month yet all my TAG's are pretty much spot on for about 6 months, maybe dropping a minute or two. Glad to hear that its just a Rollie thing.

Are you sure that's a Reventon? Maybe you are not a "V12 Expert"...

Yeah, mine needs service too. I generally send mine and my wife's Datejust out to Rolex in NY every 2 years or so for it's $300 tune-up. Haven't done it in probably 4 years now. Couldn't justify the expense once she started popping babies out. But I'll be damned if they don't come back looking 100% brand new when they're done with them....

Your TAG most likely has a quartz movement....that's why.

If it was a quartz, it shouldn't gain or lose any time. I like mechanical movements but a quartz is much more accurate.

Funny thread, goes from a CL600 and some supposed wins to a watch dialogue...

Weird....all of my Rolexes are within COSC specs, within a few secs a day with the exception of the white Explorer, which is around +5 or +6 sec/day (still within COSC, but it's still the ba$tard stepchild of the lot).
