Had a run in with a newer V10 Audi S6 on the highway, we did several runs & I walked him every time, no problem, thought they were faster

Audi's are all slow. Except B5 S4's that are worked like Supras.

I made a new V10 R8 look like it a volkswagon GTI in my tuned, fully built Nissan 300zx. I was on Q16, 614rwhp 530lbtq.

That's a bolt on modified E55 AMG. Very nice and very fast obviously. I was thinking more "stockish" more common AMGs on this board.

Another note: Yeah, these 55K engines especially modded are super fast. It's awesome so just imagine the power of the newer 5.5TT and BMW's 4.4TT

Audi is slow. I saw other in youtube, E63 wagon beat R8 V8 about 2 car space. Stock E55 should be about the same as R8 V10. BTW, R8 V10 cost $130K and E55 only $25k today. Plus, they are 7 years different technology.

A stock Audi R8 V10 traps under 12.0 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 122 mph if I'm not wrong.

Audi R8 V10s from what I meant to say trap BELOW 12 seconds easily stock with the AWD at 122 mph. No stock E55 AMG will be trapping 122 mph now eh?

And if you walked a stock Z06, then you must be heavily modified because even stock C6 Z06s can trap somewhere in the 11s and at mid to upper 120s mph all day long. Best trap stock I've seen out of them was 11.0 seconds flat and at nearly 130 mph bone stock...

Stock R8 V10 vs stock lambo Gallardo 500 HP E-gear non lp560... So you're saying a stock E55 AMG is faster just like that than a Gallardo E-gear? I highly doubt that... And these are rolls.

The DSG equipped R8 V10s are even faster...

I haven't seen a completely stock E55 trap as high as that R8 V10. There is a stock E55 with drag radials that has trapped higher... but since we are talking about kill stories on the street...the drag radials would not be as helpful as on a properly prepped track with a decent burn out.

BTW, OP was talking about C63 AMG against S6 V10 why you have to bring R8 ??? IF this is the case, why not the new 5.5TT E63 PP against R8 ? since they are all the new generation. Plus, R8 is more comparable to SLS or SL65 AMG since they are coupe high-end car at $200K price range.

I brought it up because somebody had to mention that ALL Audis are slow when the R8 V10 and the GT aren't considered slow by any means.

And now here we are. However, I'd bet money that a E63 AMG TT with PP equipped will walk a stock R8 V10 in a rolling race to very high speeds. At least there's that.

Keep in mind that the Gallardo is NOT an LP560 which is significantly faster than the previous generation. And if you watched the race just a little more closely, you'd realize that the Gallardo driver didn't do anything wrong. Didn't shift wrong and full throttle all the way to redline and shift with E-gear... The R8 V10 did the same and both were bone stock. That older Gallardo has 500 HP and a stock E55 AMG by the way is just as fast in the 1/4 mile. After that, I'd put money on the Gallardo.

FWIW I had a 2007 S6 V10 with intake/exhaust/tune and ported TB's( probably all you can do to those) and ran 13'2's @108. Heavy car with not enough torque. 2 points that are way better than an MB

Wow 13.2? What a shame...I always loved the look of the car since it came out, and the engine for what it is, and the AWD and considered it, and tried to justify how a with a tune, intake, and exhaust it would be decent...but its just...not.

Yes Audi are slow if you compare the same price level car. As I mentioned before, compare the same level of car such as R8 V10 to SLS or SL65 which in the same price range coupe. Of course, if someone mean SLOW, Corolla is slow compare to a C63 AMG right ? but you just can't compare with the price range. C63 vs ISF = Yes good comparison.

Just some information for you guys, not one of those dick trolls. I'm a huge Audi guy, all I've ever owned was Audi's but I always admire Benz for what they put to the table, especially they're insane torque numbers!!! The only reason I've honestly never owned a Benz was because im a hardcore stick guy and although I have a few MB's in the family I haven't fell in love with one until the C63 (which is a ridiculous car for N/A). Anyways here's some info.

First off the R8 V8 and V10 might not be the fastest cars in the 1/4 mile. That I agree on, HOWEVER when Audi built those cars 1/4 times were not ever a thought. Those cars handle ridiculous and they're purpose is to mess cars up on a road course. As for Audi not having fast cars, that is false. They might not have any cars like Mercedes the new twin turbo motor is ridiculous and 10 second 1/4 miles with a tune is outrageous. The new S4's are running 11's with just tune and cold air intakes. It's just a small 3.0 v6 with a supercharger but they're are more than a few running 11.7-11.9's with notning but a tune and intake/exhaust combos. They are half the engine of most benz's and when my tune only S4 went 12.4@114 it was warm out and it weighed in at 4315lbs!!! The S5 and S6 are cruisers and are slow lol. The TTRS is a ridiculous car and runs 12.0 out of the box with a 2.5 5 cylinder turbo and they're are bolt on RS4's with 4.2 NA V8's running close to 11's with just exhaust and a time. Granted Audi's are not nearly as fast as most Mb's but between the S4, TTRS, R8's, and the European RS6 which has 580hp they are kidding around. Plus the new S6 said bye V10, hello 4.0 V8 Twin turbo...

13.2 with that sound...... I may be able to live with it...
