On the way home from work yesterday a new body style civic SI pulled up and starting messing around. I know stock they make the same amount of power as I do (a whopping 200 hp =/ lol) and are a good bit lighter than my 230, so I figured it would come down to the driver (I have a 6sp as well). It sounded a bit louder than stock, but I didn't think much of it, I have a cat back exhaust myself and it is in no way faster...

l figured why not.....I should have stopped while I was ahead. We were rolling at about 50 when we punched it.....he was gone. I then realized that whatever he was running.....was far from stock. He had about a car and a half lead on me by the time we hit 90, which is pretty much when I backed off.....I knew I had just had my *** handed to me.

I know im driving about the furthest down market benz there is, and it is by no means a fast or powerful car, but at the end of the day its still a looker.

Hate to be on the wrong side of a kill story, but at the end of the day it is a benz....not a rice burner.

 

k24s are not jokes by any means. For what they're worth, they respond well to bolt on mods.

You should have tried him off a dig though. They're still torqueless.

If only, bit out of my price range. Just out of college and have plenty of loans to start paying down.
