Naaaa, thats a friends car. He live in Florida, has a 6 speed and supra bottom end. His car just dynoned 470rwhp in low boost, will be a high 600 rwhp car with race gas. He helps me host the vids, my car can be seen at my sig.

I was surfing this forum to get some good kill stories from supercharged CLK320 owners and I came accross your post and I was NOT surprized to see you here!

So, I basically got the same kit that you did, except I put the supra TT internals and a larger T-70 turbo. They should be finished and dynoed by end of week... don't really know what to expect.

Doesn't prove much, if you look at the video..
towards the end the E55 actually slowed down due to a car on the same lane ahead of him. Better luck next time.

Thanks for the compliments about the cars. That's funny what you said about the guy being cheap if he owns the ML and the Ducatti and got the wife a Civic! Hell, that's why I got my wife the CLK.
The turbo is done! And I'm going to be posting some numbers later today in the is300 forum. He didn't run it that hard for mainly two reasons:
1) the new pistons/rings/rods only have 200 miles on them so he pulled back the timing, and
2) I have an auto tranny, so he didn't want to risk it and put more than 500 to the wheels
I also opted for the 550cc injectors b/c this is my daily driver and I'm not interested in watching the gas needle good down as I drive! But I got the big T-70 and the supra TT internals, so if I want to go nuts (like Dan or Randy), I'll just put in 720's, a stiffer WG spring and oh, a 6-speed Getrag
But that'll be later. I should have the car back in Dallas by the next weekend. Can't wait. BTW, I'd say hi to Lance for you if I could ever get a hold of him!

hell ya a car with $12,000+ of performance mods is going to run 11.9 ..so ppl shouldn't get mad cause it beats a e55 ..an e55 owner could get a couple of those and do the same!

I totally agree with r00zy, I have some other more expesive cars like the SC430, but I like more the sleeper looks and the potential of the 2JZ in the IS300. I did all the work in my garage, with the helo of Toyomoto.
Anyone can have a really fast car from factory, but I like more the looks on peoples faces when I blow them with the IS.

Yes. Actually we have a 9 sec Ford Mustang Race car. We won the 1999-2000 drag racing championship with that car in that Autodromo. Ive taken the IS300 a couple of times and ran a best of 11.99 with the auto tranny slipping so much I had to put high boost after 3rd gear only.
