More of a "Take this!" than a kill
I was waiting at a red left turn light on the right side of a double left turn lane. I drive on this street occasionally, so I usually do a quick acceleration and wide left turn (to avoid potential wide turners on the left lane) into the right lane when the light is green/turns green. As I wait, a Toyota 4Runner (pretty sure it was a 4Runner) comes to the left lane, even though no one is behind me. It seemed this guy wanted to do something since he was inching, but I didn't take too much out of it since it was an SUV. As the light turns green, this guy accelerates pretty quickly, as do I since my intention was just to say on the right lane (hence, waiting at right left turn lane to get to right lane of other street). This guy was driving as if there were only one left turn lane! Before I could even pass the cross walk of the other street, this guy is going to my lane in the cross walk! I was pretty annoyed that this guy did such a thing! This caused me to reduce my acceleration and in an attempt to "do things right," I went to the left lane to pass him up. It seems like he took notice as well and probably gunned it, however, the next light was turning yellow, then red. So we both stop, but this time, it doesn't seem he wants to inch anymore. I didn't care, because when the light turns green, I was going to punch it anyway. Just as I expected, the light is green and I punch it while that guy is in my rear view mirror by a long distance. I changed back to the right lane so I could make my right turn. Apparently this guy does the same.
Basically, what bothered me most is that this guy "stole" my lane and was driving pretty slow on a 50mph road (after the second light) and breaking into my lane even though there are reflectors dividing each of the left turn lanes on the intersection. Fortunately, it was an SUV. If it were a quicker car like a Vette for example, I would have just been muttering and bitter about the event. This reaction pretty much exhausted most of my frustration.

Second, do you know what color the SUV was and if there was a kid driving? Usually most people I know that have 4Runners are really moderate and mainly soccer moms.
Nice job on taking the right decisions and avoiding an accident almost caused by that idiot.
On this double left turn lane, it is frequent that people from the left lane would change to the right lane on the other street, but the difference here was this guy didn't even signal over to my lane and pretty much cut me off while going through the cross walk of the other street. For the other occurrences, the other drivers stay on their designated lane until they are a few car lengths into the other street, then signal over to get into the right lane. This is more understandable since the right left turn lane does fill up if there are a lot of cars, but in my case, there was no one behind me.
I kind of figured that was what he was up to, though, and when the light turned, I gave it a bit more throttle than usual. Sure enough, he immediately started hot-******* it. I gave it about 2/3 throttle and dusted his ***, wasn't even a contest.
He ended up in the left turn lane behind me, scowling.
