'94 C220 vs '02 Civic EX 5 spd
hey all,
my friend and i were just driving around town and decided to see how we would keep up with each other on a deserted road, seeing as he does have a 5spd manual vs my 4 speed auto.
so we line up and this is a long long stretch with no cars, just some bushes and sand along the sides. we hit it and i pull ahead on the launch and he keeps up to my passanger side door (his bumper along the middle of my car) and when he shifted, i was still in first about to hit the rev limiter and i just blew away when he shifted. We did this for a few more times and same results.
But here's my question. Since he does have an extra gear, would he be able to over take me when i run out of gears and/or when i hit my limiter?

yeah gdawg, chalk one up for the c-class! 
in my ricer days, my expiriences were that stock engine civics couldn't keep up with accords on the freeway once they start to reach around 120mph. the accord would just pull away easily.
