Frustrated C32
I was leaving work the other night in my Ferrari Testarossa and I saw something SCREAM out of a parking lot and head after me. As I approach the a traffic light to make a left we stop...and I notice the MB signals lights. I figured that it must be some sort of AMG as most Mercs (non AMG) seem to be driven a little more conservatively.
As we are waiting for the light to change (in the dark) I am trying to figure if it is a C class or and E class(if it's an E55, I'm dead!).....the light changes and we get an arrow...so we are off. I can tell that he is on it HARD....so I felt the obligation to return the favor! Poor thing didn't stand a chance! As we approach traffic, I slow down and he catches me in the right lane.....and he would NOT look over....as much as I waved and tried to say hi.
I let him past and it was a C32. What did he expect? Of course he couldn't keep up...now an E55...that would have been different!
You know that there are so many variables when 2 cars meet...and alot of it has to do with driver skill and experience.
I know that at the track I am quicker in my bone stock SL55 than I am in my Fcars (except for the F40...but it isn't that big a difference!)

In any case, you shouldn't have walked all over him, at least not based on this...was it another model?
To be fair my TR isn't totally stock. It has European cams, and a custom fabricated SS exaust that is ALOT lighter than stock...no cats and a couple of tiny mufflers. HP is in the 420-430+ range....
As you guys are surely aware alot of street and canyon 'racing' seems to rely on who is going to 'blink' first...if you know what I mean.
