W209 CLK55 AMG vs porsche boxter S vs Audi S4
one day my dad and i are driving back from a local soccer game in our 2003 CLK55 AMG and we were nearing our house which is pretty high up elevation wise so the roads get twisty and long straights. Were casually driving and waiting at a stop sign to turn right. We see two cars coming up fast but with still enough time to safetly turn so we do so and we kinda push it to pick up speed so were going about 40 and these two cars just blow past us honking going 70-80mph and pass us going over a double solid line in a blind turn on a two lane road. my dad just completely floors it to catch up and he starts tailgating the S4 which is behind the boxter S. were about 60% throttle keeping about 5 feet behind the s4. we slowly drop back a little and switch from casual to manual drive. he then downshifts to 3rd gear and the car slows down a little and then he finally just pushes it 100% and we go from about 15 feet behind the s4 to 70mph around the turn going at least 10 mph faster than both cars and finally he upshifts to 4th at the very last second of the turn and blows past the s4 and boxter going around 100 on a little longer than 1/4 mile road. it was a sweet kill cause we know the roads so well and we had the radar and laser detector telling us it was free to go. Amazing what Benz has made over the past couple years.
