With a bolt-on supercharger (Magnason blower $4,000) you get 500RWHP. They are really quick cars, but the biggest problem is traction.. When you start modifying corvettes at that level you have problems putting the power down. On a highway roll, they will be potent.
Scott,
Just an FYI.... If your Z06 is just Heads/Cam it is not 600+ RWHP. You are probably at 420 - 430RWHP.

I got a brand new 65 and a 1000HP GTS Viper but no one is kissing my ***. Tuscanraider, would you like to start? Make sure you put on some lip gloss so that it will glide easily and smoothly.
(reading between the lines. STFU! If you cannot say anything nice, keep your negative comments to yourself.)
If you go back to his kills, the Z06 and the F360 instigated the race, what do you want Ben to do....pull out a banner saying "this is a SL65 and you have no match"?

on an up note,
i'm always glad to hear that when beaten, the corvette driver pulled up and gestured "it was fun though i lost".
it's all about that, gentlemanly respect.

C5 refers to 5th generation which refers to Z06 model as well as Corvette coupe and convertible models.
The Z06 has an LS6, the coupe and convertibles have an LS1.

BTW:
This thread does not suck. It is actually quite funny and proof that people on this forum can disagree, poke fun at each other, and generally have a good time without confusing "car issues" with "real life."
Thanks to all for a good laugh!
