W211 E55 tried to race me......

W211 E55 tried to race me......
So i'm driving on the highway. I see an E on my ***. I could not tell which E class it was since it was dark out, but all the sudden he just floors it by me and got to see the beautiful rear end of the E55! :p So i'm driving thinking to my self, should i try to race him? or should i forget it since i know i will lose? i still wasn't sure.... After about 2 minutes of regular driving i end up passing him because his lane started getting backed up. I move over to my right to get off the exit. This exit lane is VERY long till the exit actually comes up. All the sudden the E55 just comes right out of the slow moving lane and strarted cathing up. I see him slam on the brakes and just drive right next to me. I look over and say to myself hmmm, "i would like to see the outcome, but i dont feel like getting my *** kicked". So after the E55 doesn't see me go, he just floored it, and i got off my exit. 
I dont know what happened to me, i normally would have raced him even if i thought i was gonna lose. But somehow today i didn't feel like losing? now i feel really bad i didn't go. 
This was very unlike me, lol. Sorry to let u all down, lol, just figured i would share my stupid waste of time story.

Yeah, I saw an E55 in town once and wanted to get it on, knowing I'd lose of course! We were in bumper-to-bumper traffic so it was a no go.

eh, usually when i find myself doing something odd like not racing someone...i end up seeing a cop farther down the street, or a cop emerges from behind me. haha one time i was at a stoplight and just didnt feel it...i went through first at a regular speed and then hit it in second; when i was around 60 i realized that there was a crown vic RIGHT behind me

lol, i guess this is a good reason why i should have had my name changed here to something other then "blackc230coupe" My C230 has been gone a while already. I was in my C55 at the time the E55 tried racing me.

Haven't had anyone try me in the 55 yet. You just don't see too many cool cars in my area (St. Louis). Most of the time I have to pick on poor Z28's, Mustang GT's, Cobra's, and the like. I haven't had the chance to race another AMG yet, but I'm sure the time will come soon.
When I had my C32, I did race (or tried to race) an S55K. It was fun to see how fast that big boy could go. Next time, give that 55K a run!
