I just found this one...http://har.com/search/engine/indexde...kButton=Y...on the buybankhomeswebbsite it says the bank is trying to get 114,900 for it but im guessing the bank is trying to get rid of it and is tryingg to get 99,000 for it. I checked the county appraisal district and they value the house at 129,490

Nice find... If you put 15K into it that home has potential of 190K. Particalarly the landscaping aspect... See if you can get ahold of your father today. Ask them if you could tour the home. How much have you talked about these homes with your dad?

So you've been intrested in these homes for a good while now haven't you? It really is a good expericence to have and you could upgrade to that M6 if this all goes well. But all of that kickten and most of the carpets and floors need to go... new bathroom. Redo the fireplace, drywall the garage, landscaping, the insulation might need to be pulled... I've noticed that its pretty typical in homes from the 60's and bring the place up to code Sounds like a lot but Im sure it could be done in a month if you spend a good 10 hours a day...

Its more of the location location location idea... just like I did with Old Met... I bought the whole block at 85K when it was going through a revitalization. I have gotten offers in the 2 million range. Those lots in the neighborhoods are more less something that you buy very cheap and keep them for a while... then 10 years later you sell them for a huge return.
