C230K vs. Toyota Supra
This race was between my 2000 C230K sedan (stock) against my friend’s 97’ Supra NA (normally aspirated) 5-speed (mods: air filter, exhaust system, cam gears, fly-wheel). He was riding with 3 other friends in his Supra and I had my girlfriend with me. We were on our way to dinner, and just happened to stop right next to each other at a traffic light. So, I looked over to him and he signaled a “go” with two of his fingers. I nodded and waited patiently for the light to turn green. Then processed and turned off my A/C (like that helps!). Hate to lose a race with so many friends around. He was revving like crazy and his inline 6 sounded fantastic. As the light turns green, we both hit it. I jumped out ½ car in front of him and I can hear his tires chirped a little and roared right next to me. At 30 mph, we were even. At 60, he pulled ahead by about 3 cars, and by 90 mph, he had me on his killed list at about 8-car length behind. Showing off to me his big white Supra ***! I have run even with Integras GSRs before, but the Supra is just too much of car for my C230K sedan. No luck this time.

thats sucks, I usually don't race anything from the line with that much torque. I love freeway racing because I'm a natural ******* driver who has mastered the art of bobbing and weaving and cutting off and pinning. I'm better at top speed I think it requires more than from the line.
