C32 AMG
Me VS. SRT-4
Pulled up to a light after work while taking a buddy home and I saw a SRT-4 showing off his blow-off valve, so my buddy goes to the guy what you got? the guy laughs and goes what is that a 6- cylinder and we laugh and say yeah its just a 6-cylinder completely stock. We punch it at the light, I power launched up to 2500k and let off the brake and took off to about 110 I shut down and I had 4-5 car lengths on the guy. So we after I shut down I slowly make my way to the next traffic light and the guy goes wtf? that cars like 55,000 how much power you got. We talked a bit and then we went on our ways. Anyway that was my first smack talking race. BTW I own a stock C32 AMG. Hoping to upgrade with renntech ECU/Pulleys kit so I can run with C5 vettes.

nice kill, but how did you brake torque to 2500rpm? I thought the tranny would only let you go up to ~1500 and back off.
kostas86 - since when do they have a 2000 C32? The first yr was 2002.

03 Vette vs. 03 c32
funny story, I had a guy in San Clemente CA. in a 2003 Corvette not the z06. I reved my engine at him and he looked over and said, you can't possibly beat me in that v6. I said, would you like to find out. I didn't see him the whole time after the light was green except for in my rear view

I have the same problem when I am on a jet plane and am flying parallel to the freeway. Those cars just wither away with impotence.

Oh, and BTW, I have smoked a few bikes in my C32 (mostly older rice rockets). Obviously, there are many bikes which will hand my **** to me, but it's still fun to try!

It's the 'I am the eagle of the road' syndrom that's fun to watch. It usually goes by 'seasons' and car models. The most fun I had was with a bozzo in a Z3 3.0i, top down with the blonde posturing next to him. I was cruising by at 80 (5mph over traffic) and he gets into my lane and tailgates me. Quick torque work to 120 and I am pulling away to go sit back at my 80 a few hundred yards ahead. Now he is getting really territorial and when he gets next to me he downshifts to whatever gear (that was somewhat loud). I did nothing for a while to let him settle at a half decent speed and went to warp, passed him at 160+ and went to cruise mode to 65-70. When he passed me, he was doing 70-75, looking straight with a nervous blush, and the blonde was smiling and waving.
****, I should go trolling on BMW boards.

Now to the R-6 vs C32. Stock for stock, pretty much no contest below 140. But the R6 is a bike, so skills do matter a lot more than a step-on-it-grow-skills-some-other-time device like the C32. Edit: dunno about the Renntech though.
PS: Supras can be quite good, but you still have to put 600-700 RWHP, and by then you have a car that has such a binary engine that it becomes very specialized for straight line.

Don't get me wrong, some cars are VERY exciting. If only Mercedes would do manual transmissions they would rank so much higher on the 'fun' scale.
