I just purchased a new to me 2000 ML 320. It is in mint condition with 27000 miles. I hope I don't encounter the littany of problems mentioned here.

Question: Is the outsides tempature LCD in the control panel supposed to be illuminated. My stays dark.

It should be illuminated when your lights are on the same way the clock should
