I was going down Willis Avenue (for those who don't know, it's on Long Island in New York) and I saw a Mercedes V-Class and right behind it, a silver A-Class.

First time I have seen them, but the V-Class was fully clad with MB Symbols, so it was not the Freightliner-branded Sprinter, and the bottom half was covered with a black cover, like in those spy pictures. The color was a cool metallic light blue color. The silver A-Class was right behind, and it looked like it had the AMG styling pieces on it.

I found it weird that if these were test vehicles - that they would be testing them in a well-populated place like Long Island. Anyway, it was a nice sighting - too bad I didn't have my digital cam on me at the time.

Do a search on Vito fan club, go to the USA members area, and there he is.

Maybe I didn't see right, but it appeared to be half-covered. Why would a private owner do that - that I don't get. But I guess it's possible.
