service times

Jeff,
You can get the number of miles the computer estimates you have until the next service. With your key in the ignition (can't remember which position it needs to be in), if you push the button next to the tach twice in short sequence, the FSS icon (a wrench) will come up on the display along with the estimated number of miles to the next service. I think I did read that in the W163 user's manual so you may want to check for exact instructions.

Thanks for the update. I am at 10,200 miles. The computer say 1,100 for service. If this synthetic oil works as designed, it sure is nice to drive a car for 10 months without seeing the dealer.
thanks,
