How do I get back to the screen for the code my son put the wrong code in now my radio is stuck on the wait screen

 

don't blame your kid. sometimes what you think is the right code, doesn't work. the radio has to be on for about an hour. i had to do this many times. just turn the key to position two and go back inside. come back out in an hour. make sure the radio is on. after about an hour the radio will allow you to reenter a code with ''please enter security code''... or something along those lines. enter the code then hit the ok key. if it goes back to ''please enter security code'' again. then the code is not what your entering. you'll have two more tries. after three tries it will lock you out again... then you have to ''wait'' another hour. sometimes you have to put a 5 in the first position of the code. if your code is 31153 replace the first digit with a 5... 51153... good luck.

I have the original code card for my 2002 E55 AMg, i've entered the code ,it's accepted,but the radio/cd doesn't react, is there another button I need to press?

 

Whats the process for entering the code and turning the radio/cd on?

 

Here is the process.

 

if it accepts the code but there is no audio. then there probably is a fiber optic problem. mine accepted the code and went to radio and cd and all of that but there is no audio. fiber optic problem is what i determined but i've never done anything to fix it.

 

entered my reset code for my radio,is there another button to hit to reset it?
just enter the ok soft key?

I wonder if anyone can help me generating MCS code for my 2003 ML (w163)? My battery died due to freezing cold here.. It is US based version I got from a guy that lived in the states and went back to Europe...

Problem resolved, I was able to get the code.

 

Guys, I could use some help with a code issue. I called the dealer where the SUV was bought and gave them the serial number on the radio and it doesn't work, it just keeps going back to enter code and then Wait. The model number and serial numbers are AL4210 1 07 03680 and 163 820 10 86 the code they gave me is 23113.

Is there a master override code I can enter or did the dealer give me an incorrect code? I did call them a second time and they gave me the same code.

Turn the key into ignition position and wait 0.5 to even 2h for the radio to change from wait to enter the code mode. You must have entered incorrect code 3 times and it locked. Do not turn off anything until radio resets.

I've done that cycle multiple times still no luck.

 

It sounds like they gave you somehow incorrect code. Did you try calling MB USA, or local dealer?

 

Silentbob, I checked the code with some other source here in Poland for you, it sounds correct. It looks like it may be a hardware issue.

Oh hey I should've looked around before posting. I would also like to get the security code for my ml 320's console. I also don't live in North America (car was bought legally, I can prove it) so I can't use the register online feature. Can anyone help?
