PAS pump leak.....

Noticed a small spot of oil on the garage floor underneath the PAS pump - looked like a resevoir leak at first. So I cleaned off all the oil and then re-checked a couple of days later.
Seems to be coming from the back and bottom of the PAS pump - time for a new pump methinks - unless someone has a better idea ?
Any idea how much parts and labor ? Don't fancy doing this repair myself !
Might get it fixed while the dealer is doing the harmonic balancer swap.

Of course I could just live with it and top up the oil from time to time....

more than likly it is the o-ring that goes between the resevoir and the pump. Or the resevoir might be cracked. either way i doubt that you need a pump...goodluck

I was hoping it was the resevoir as well....

I was all set to get one and switch it out - but it's definately not the resevoir - all nice and dry around the interface (had to use a small mirror to see properly). Oil seepage only starts to appear at the bottom / rear of the pump.

Will double check to be sure though.

As ever thanks for the help / advice :-)
